Sorry for not posting the story behind these shots earlier...it's been more than crazy the past few days. These were shots I took during a video shoot for a public service announcement and ad campaign for local police, fire, EMT, and care flight services. The ads will air locally (and perhaps regionally) to promote some community events and our local "Hero Card" program, which is trading cards with our local fire/police/emt/care flight people on them...it's a youth and community program that helps the kids get to know who they can trust to help them and to also get the community involved with the various public safety and service entities. These particular shots were from the fire station, and the child (my own J.P.) wasn't in danger...it was lit with red and blue gels and we used a fog machine for the smoke. :)

Cool shots. Tomorrow night my nephew is graduating from the fire academy near me and I am going to shoot some images if him.
Monday he rescued a 24 year old man who was hit by a car and dragged a half mile. Due to my nephew's training and skill, he and his two firefighter buddies got this 24 year old out in a very short time and he is going to make it. Unreal what firefighters do without even thinking of themselves. God bless them.

Whoa.. you can't post a photo this strong and not tell us what it is? Is this real? Is that a real child in trouble?
