We went out to the park this afternoon to let Byron finish up shooting some footage for the Shattered Dreams documentary that he's completing for Drug-Free Greenville. He shot the closing with the warrant officer who is the talent for the documentary DVD. This DVD will be released to all prospective agencies and schools who are considering doing a Shattered Dreams presentation - it covers all the information on how to plan an event and what kinds of costs, personnel, and time are involved. It's very in-depth and has taken over a month to complete with all the interviews and footage required. He'll be editing it this next week and then the city is putting on a premier event at the city auditorium, complete with limos, red carpet, and search lights when it's presented in its entirety for the first time to all the people who made Shattered Dreams happen. It's kind of neat. I get to dress up all fancy that night. A great excuse to go shopping! :)
